Well here we go again, time is just flying by me. I have had good intentions of keeping up to date with my blog but another month rolls on by. Ho hum!
Well today I have bitten the bullet and applied for a job, all be it part time but a job it is. Fingers crossed, not sure how I will go but optimistic at this stage that I will at least get an interview.
There are so many things we will be able to do with a little extra money. For the past 24 years we have managed on one wage, - bought cars, paying off a mortgage, had our own business for 5 years and raised 4 children. There has been little chance to save anything for a rainy day and things are getting harder all the time. So the time is right to try and get that elusive extra cash to do some home repairs, upgrade vehicles, get some good clothes etc etc.
Mind you I wouldn't have changed a thing if I could have my time over again - I believe it is so important to the family for Mum to be at home while the kids are young. My youngest is now 14 so guess they are now old enough to look after themselves while Mum goes out to work.
Anyway I will just wait patiently and see what happens.
Wish me luck :)

Who's Been Slack?
It has been quite a while since I last posted here. Had to laugh at the last post.....I didn't even make a start with being organised......just continued on doing things as I have always done them..lol
Feb saw me have my other knee replacement which has been fantastic....It is just so good to be able to walk without all that knee pain.
March was spent recuperating while being spoilt by hubby and the kids.
Haven't done much on the craft front either....completed a couple of L/Os but havent taken any photos, have been playing with some flower making...paper flowers and crochet flowers which were so much fun.
This week we celebrated our 25th. wedding anniversary....can't believe how fast those years have flown...looking forward to the next 25. :) We celebrated just with the 4 kids and our grandson.....bought takeaway Chinese (which is what we ate for dinner the night of our wedding....we had a morning wedding) and my DD made a pavlova.
Monday sees me another year older....but I still feel like I'm about 20 even if the body acts as if its 70. ROFL
I'm past celebrating my birthdays....who wants to be reminded that they are getting older!
Hope you have are having a great day.

My New Challenge
I found this great challenge here and thought it would be a great way to try and keep the clutter down in this house. It's a pity I am such a hoarder LOL. The idea is to declutter 52 things over 52 weeks so I am going to give it a try. Wish me luck. I will have to start tomorrow when there are less people in the house.
